These are school project to design products in tubes. I made something that I personally wish I had. With the teacher acting as a client, I asked the following questions and designed them based on those answers.
1. what is your target audience? (e.g., people who play sports, people who are busy, people who are trying to lose weight)
• Your target audience should be people who cook and do the groceries and make it appealing to them.
2. what is the age target?
• Your target age is the general population over the age of 18 I would say.
3. What is the theme of this product? (e.g., simple, flashy, classic)
• The theme should be simple and have an air of deliciousness and refinement
4. how much is one tube?
• One tube is about $15 each since it's a higher end clientele - think like a specialty food
5. Where will you sell it? (e.g., supermarket, mail order, convenience store)
• Selling in higher end super markets and online - selling to people who want more inspired cuisine, make the stores to more high end health food grocery stores
6. what is the positioning of these products? (e.g., easy, quick to charge, healthy)
• These products are easy to work with - have a longer shelf life, yet are for the refined palettes
